Although the SAF system is extremely robust, it is important
to ensure that the key enters the lock without impact. If the
guard is heavy and ill fitting, it will be necessary to guide the
key into the lock. Unimax supplies heavy duty handle plates
with hardened dowels and matching switch plates whick have
tapered receptors. these ensure that the heaviest of guards
are pulled into line.
Known as the X Plate they are available with the same choice
of fail safe switches and handles as the standard SAF system.
With these X plates we can also provide a safe-circuit
pneumatic valve in addition to, or in place of the electrical fail
safe switch.
